Do you ever get stuck...you know...that feeling that something is holding you back? You can feel like that even when you are good at what you do--even when you are considered an expert in your field!

Do you love working one-on-one with your clients yet cringe at the thought of networking, meeting new people, speaking or giving presentations?

Maybe you flinch every time you even think about getting yourself out there, doing online marketing activities; writing website copy, newsletters or blogs.

Do you hesitate when it comes to planning, or implementing organizational systems in your office or on your computer?

And how about self-care? Do you ever get around to putting yourself at the top of your to-do list?

As I was reflecting on the positive benefits and support I received from my own business coaches this past year, I realized how important it is to make sure that we're being coached at the level that matches our needs.

What do I mean by "level"? I'll explain. What I'm sharing here is an NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) model that identifies various Logical Levels to your success. I prefer to call these Soul Levels to your success because the soul loves balance and harmony and this model is all about creating balance.

This model starts at the bottom level with Environment and moves up to the top level of Spirituality.

Soul Levels to Your Success

As a woman entrepreneur, you move from one level to the next as you work on a current project or just contemplate your next task and that's the way it's meant to be.

Here's an example of what I mean. Let's say you begin thinking about attracting more clients. You want to be of service to more people and you also want to attract more money.

Start at the Environment level. You love your office and the physical surroundings you have now so all is well in that area. You've been taking lots of action as you follow leads and new ideas so your Behavior level is also fine. So what about the next level of Capabilities? Do you have all of the resources, connections and know how you need?

Take a few moments to quiet your mind and tune into any insights, mental images, words of wisdom or other communication from your soul. In other words, pay attention to your gut feelings.

Perhaps deep down there is be a belief that no one will hire you or buy your products because the economy is poor. This is simply a Belief and is not necessarily true. Beliefs are not based on logic and your current beliefs can create misalignment and conflict within you. My personal experience has shown me that the sooner I identify where I'm stuck, or in conflict, and get some coaching, the sooner I am able to achieve more goals for my business.

There was a time recently when I had two business coaches for two very specific purposes. Shortly after I started working with the second coach, it felt as though something wasn't quite right (but I couldn't put my finger on it). She was a brilliant coach, an expert in her field, I really liked her and she had lots to offer me. I eventually figured out that I was being coached at the wrong level. I was being coached at the Capabilities level when what I needed was coaching at the Belief level. Whew...what a relief it was to sort that out.

I quickly took action and created a new, more empowering belief. I ended that coaching relationship and saved myself a considerable amount of money and time.

Many of us have times when we feel stuck, our confidence wavers or we struggle because overwhelm and conflicting beliefs bog us down. When you decide to change all of that, make sure you're receiving help and support at the right level. You wouldn't go to a web developer to help you release a fear of marketing and you wouldn't go to a coach that specializes in belief changes if you needed help automating your online systems.

Here's an exercise for you to experiment with:

1. Lighten up...bring out your magic wand and get ready to create some entrepreneurial magic.

2. Take a moment to decide what you really, really want. Choose a desire that you have right now.

3. Now start at the level of Environment and slowly move up the levels. Notice if you are in alignment with each of these Soul Levels or is there a level that brings feelings of resistance, doubt or overwhelm.

Your Environment, Behavior, and Capabilities need to align with your Beliefs. Having a clear sense of your Identity and understanding your higher Spiritual purpose is equally important too.

This NLP for the soul model helps you to identify areas where there are interferences and where you are out of balance.

So come on, step into your brilliance and share your gifts with the people who are waiting for your products and services. Use this model.
